Welcome!

The Disney Room
This site is dedicated to my passion for collecting Disney memorabilia.  I am proud to share with you my own room full of all things Disney.

EXPLORE AND ENJOY!
Click on one of the subjects on the left side of each page to enter each realm of The Disney Room

The Disney Room has much to be explored.  From the numerous framed posters, lithographs, photographs and animation cels to plates, figurines, sculptures, beanies and books.  One thing for sure is that you will only find all things Disney in this room.

While guests are in the room, they often ask me questions about my favorite pieces on display and about my own Disney memories.

The room is divided into different areas celebrating the Disney theme parks, animated classics, and more.  There are also small themed displays for seasonal themes like Villains, castles, "Fantasia" and more.

Only abot 75% of my collection is actually on display in the room.  Much of it rotates throughout the year.  This doesn't include my holiday collection which is displayed every holiday season.  Have fun exploring this site.  You won't see everything that the room has to offer, but you will get a nice taste of it.

One Man's Dream
(my own)
I have always enjoyed entertaining people.  As a teenager, I created haunted halloween "events" as charity fundraisers in my hometown of Alameda, California.  They received media coverage and were attended by hundreds of people.

The cable television boom of the 1980's afforded me the opportunity to create hundreds of television programs that aired all over the western United States.  This included my program "Island City Limits" which was a landmark television series.  During this time I also worked in a television production class at a local high school where, through my production company, I was able to help many high school and college students live their television dreams.

In 1995, my young retail career took me to The Disney Store in downtown San Francisco.  I worked as a part time "cast member" in the store's Gallery department.  My job was to simply share my own Disney memories, of which I had plenty.

In 1999, I found myself back at The Disney Store.  This time it was at the legendary Pier 39 store, also in San Francisco.  And this time I was the manager.  I ran that store until December of 2001, just months before it was closed permanently.

Through the Disney Room experience, I am able to share my vast knowledge and passion for the real Disney with the many guests who visit.  The audio/visual show is my way of re-connecting with my creative side and entertaining people the way that I did through all of those television programs and special events that I was a part of.

It is a pleasure to share my dream with you by bringing The Disney Room to you, via this website.  I hope you will enjoy this Disney Room experience.

Why An Entire Room?
When I first started collecting Disney items, I never dreamed that my little hobby would grow into such a passion.  The collection began on a shelf in a corner of my bedroom.  The shelf grew into a small bookcase.  That became a wall, and several years later I was able to designate a whole room to house my collection.

The real Disney
My collection celebrates Disney in all of it's glory from the many years of Walt Disney's creative genius, to the rebirth and renewal of the early 1990's.  What you will see in the room are pieces of history and memorabilia that will rekindle your own cherished Disney memories.
I call this "The Real Disney".

What you won't see in the room are items that glorify the Walt Disney Company's direction of corporate greed over the past decade.  Intentionally omitted from the collection are most items related to the Disney/Pixar relationship.  Also not featured in the room are references to the turmoil and committment to arrogance led by Michael Eisner since the late 1990's.

The Disney Room celebrates Walt Disney and the legacy of entertainment that he left us.  From Mickey Mouse to the classic animated features, to the Disney parks and the achievements from the "after Disney" era.
